High School Recreational
Rec Team rowing program is for high school students in 9th through 12th grades who are interested in a low-commitment option for the rowing season. No experience is needed to join our Rec Team, and we generally have a mix of freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors each season. Athletes will start the season by building a base level of fitness and learning the basics of the sport and gradually progress to spending more time on the water throughout the fall season.

We are excited to announce the return of AJRA's Rec Team for high school students this Spring!
PRACTICE
DATES: February 18th - May 15th, 2027
LOCATION: AJRA Boathouse, 245 Azalea Drive, Roswell, GA 30075
PREREQUISITES: Open to High School students. No previous rowing experience is necessary.
SCHEDULE:
Thursday: 5 pm - 7 pm
Saturday Mornings: 10:30 am - 12:30 am
The season will end with an exhibition event open to friends and family.
